As the Founder and CEO of Blueline Insights, I lead the mission to bring clarity to complex data challenges, enabling businesses to make informed, data-driven decisions. My role involves providing comprehensive data solutions tailored to meet client-specific needs, with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BusinessObjects. I actively engage with clients to design and implement strategies that maximize data utility, driving success across various sectors. In addition to expanding my professional network within the business intelligence community, including SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau, I also contribute thought leadership in areas such as data visualization, artificial intelligence, and data analytics strategy. This leadership is demonstrated through strategic road mapping and ongoing client engagements.

In my role as a part-time instructor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, I have developed and facilitated courses that are central to the Nursing Informatics curriculum. Notably, I created and taught "NNI 637 - Fundamentals of Database Management" during the Summer semesters of 2022 and 2023. Additionally, I assumed the role of facilitator for "NNI 632 - Nursing Informatics Systems Analysis and Design," which I have taught in Spring 2023 and continue to teach. My contributions extend beyond instruction as I actively serve on the Artificial Intelligence Taskforce, where we research and integrate AI methods throughout the curriculum, ensuring ethical usage. Currently, I am developing a new course titled "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare," aimed at educating faculty on the transformative impact of AI in healthcare.

As an Associate Director of Data & Analytics at Protiviti, Inc., I engaged with over 80 clients across various stages of their business intelligence implementation, providing strategic direction and solutions. My role involved offering thought leadership through articles, webinars, and presentations at major industry conferences. I also worked closely with SAP to provide partner testing and feedback on their latest analytics and AI/ML capabilities. A key aspect of my position was leading the professional development of consultants and managers, guiding them in the adoption and application of emerging technologies for client engagements. I also served as a career advisor for five junior employees, fostering their growth and expanding my knowledge base to include Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik, thereby enhancing our team’s capabilities in delivering cutting-edge data solutions.

As a Senior Applications Developer at NetBank, Inc., I played a crucial role in developing and integrating key systems that supported the company’s operations. I was the sole developer of a subprime mortgage pricing system, utilizing Microsoft products to deliver a reliable and efficient solution. Additionally, I led the systems integration project that merged Meritage.com with DataTrac, the existing loan origination system, ensuring seamless operation across platforms. My responsibilities extended to managing both the hardware and software aspects of the development, QA, and production environments, ensuring stability and performance across all stages. I also developed mortgage rate comparison software (automated underwriting) for broker use, providing a critical tool that enhanced decision-making capabilities. As part of the team responsible for the banking platform, I contributed to the development of NetBank’s core systems, playing a vital role in the company’s technological advancements during my tenure.
